3,425 Times “Government Shall…” and 1990 Pages.

This numbers says it all: the number of times the Government will be doing something in the new bill introduced this morning on the steps of the capitol by Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.

Medicare is 9 times more expensive today than what the CBO scored the bill when written. That shows how shallow this whole processes it. Apparently it isn’t even a good guess. What will this nearly Trillion Dollar health care bill cost the ½ of Americans who work and pay the taxes? We can all assume with little fanfare that it will be much more expensive than what we are told and Democrats know this but it is immaterial to them. Their aim and goal of moving the nation toward a more statist policy - one where the government is the one who takes on and answers the problems – will become more solidified. The nation will have taken a giant step into the failed policies of Socialism which has done so much damage to Europe – to the point they are moving away from this damaging model.

We hear there will be 53 new government agencies created to administer this new government giant. This should cause fear in every taxpayers heart because the political class is growing in leaps and bounds in America because the Government hires people, they are unionized by people with a socialist slant, they don’t produce one tax dollar for the economy; every penny paid to them must come from the ½ of American Citizens who work and pay taxes; and here comes the biggie: They vote against the desires and wishes of those who pay taxes because they want to keep their jobs which are provided by Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam is becoming the Uncle we want to hide in the closet, an embarrassment to those who work and pay taxes. He isn’t the skinny little guy anymore, but has grown obese with the largess of Congress and the President. It is time to put him on a diet and stop this madness in Washington.

Do we all agree that we need change in our health system? Absolutely! Do we all agree that we need to start from square one and include Democrats, Republicans AND the American Citizen? Absolutely. With the amount of attention and focus on Health Care Reform, the entire nation is truly ready to engage and come up with solutions that will not break the system in the future, create an every bigger political class that is taking over the nation and put a system in place that we can grow into.

My last question to Fat Uncle Sam is this: Where is the money going to come from if jobs are not coming back because corporations are closing factories and moving to low-cost-labor markets, such as China? Time to put on the breaks and do what President Obama claims to be doing with his decision on Afghanistan – take the time to get it right!
