Before It Is Too Late, Will Congress and President Obama Understand - We Have Changed!

C. Fred Bergsten, Director of the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics, was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs from 1977 to 1981. He believes that the only way forward for America is possibly through the East as the credibility of western governments are questioned. Bergsten believes that America must move away from a system centered on the dollar; balance the budget; avoid large deficits, and adapt a global currency. If not? Imagine the worst for our children, and maybe even for those alive today.

Bergsten does not paint a very rosy picture for our nation. If fact, it is downright depressing to observe someone with his background saying that America is on a sloping path of decline, deficits, and too much spending; heading our country into bankruptcy. Foreign nations are not going to support our drunken-out-of-control-spending habits much longer.

It is discouraging to turn on Fox News this morning and see Senator Harry Reid stating that the healthcare bill must have a public option. Our country has tens of millions of illegal’s aliens who will be grandfathered into citizenship when President Obama starts pushing his ideas for handling the illegal alien problem next year. Who believes there will not be amnesty for all the illegals? Who believes they can round up twelve-million plus people and send them home? Once illegal’s have children born here, are in the school system; that is their meal ticket for social service, and other services. It is breaking the back of America, especially now. We should review allowing anyone to automatically becoming a citizen that is born here. You are not automatically a citizen if you are born in Japan and your parents are from a different country for example. Why no public discourse? Maybe Liberals are afraid of losing the argument. One thing’s for sure, it will be heated.

Families are so strapped and hurting that they are stunned to get a message out of the Liberals in power in Washington stating that we must learn to downsize and live simpler (read that: poorer) lives using less energy, driving smaller cars, using less electricity; water, all the time that the Far East is growing in leaps and bounds. Even more frightening, we have a President who says the earth is going to melt without Global Change controls (remember when it was Global Warming until the earth entered a natural 10 year cooling cycle?)

The message to America from Bergsten: If you don't act and act soon it won’t just be bad for America, America may totally fail! In other words, put out the "Going Bankrupt - Everything Must Go" sign on the U.S.

Hey! Wait a minute. Why are we going forward spending all those billions of dollars that have not been distributed from the stimulus if, as we heard this week, the bulk of the leverage from the stimulus has already been realized? Isn't that like throwing good money after bad? Also, where is the American spirit to tighten our belts for the next generation, on our own? American and the free market will settle the score overtime, but when the Government puts its hands around our wallet and tells us to relax - they have everything under control - we are in real trouble!

We have very difficult decisions to make in the next several months. First, if we don't get Fiscal Conservatives back into the power flow in D.C., the Progressive Socialist are going to harm our nation's future so drastically that there will be no fixing it. The laws that are greedily being pushed from Washington is influenced by the Democratic Socialist Party, the Unions, who are socialist, and the political class that is unionized and are taking over the government personnel in America.

The Communist and Socialist in America, and especially in Europe, are gleeful: one of their own is finally in power with his czars. What they realize is that because of the complexity of our system, once they ram their polices through Congress and the President signs them, Conservatives will never be able to reverse them back out of the system without destroying the system itself. It is like introducing a cancer into the heart and saying: "Sure we can keep the cancer in check, but you either have to live with it or we must take the heart out. Which do you want to do?" That is what Socialist are trying to do: Become a cancer that can only be killed if the whole body dies. Then they are hosted permanently at the expense of those who work and earn a living; having union dues taken out and sent to union bosses whether you agree with their politics or philosophy or not.

If American's don't quickly mobilize and grasp what is happening soon, all is lost. Our nation will be changed and damaged in a way that we cannot recover. We will be the land of Obama and Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Frank. We will be the generation that lost control of our freedom and liberty in such vast measure that we may well become the hated generation. What we have is fragile and we have been quite far too long. I do not want to see Socialism come into power on my watch. That is not the generation I want to be a part of in America. The true failures that changed America into every other failed Socialist country. If we go that route, we truly will fail as a nation because it will rend the very soul of America herself.

There is no time to waste! Spending must stop. Socialistic policies must stop. The Bush Tax cuts are expiring and Pelosi had the audacity to say that it is not a Democratic tax hike. The tax cuts need to stay!

Obama says that making people pay for health insurance premiums is not a tax, even though the IRS is the one collecting and fining American citizens, and there is up to a $25,000 fine and one year in jail. That is not freedom. That is slavery to the American Government. It has lost its mind and become drunk on its own power. We must put the government in the DTT ward until they dry out and stop the madness.

The message to Washington is: STOP! STOP! STOP! Be assured, we will stop you in the next election with a vengeance. We will not forget and Washington is underestimating our anger and our resolve.

Politicians don’t understand something important just happened in America; the liberal press doesn't understand, those who seek daily to kill God in our society don't understand, those who lobby the Congress don’t understand, our leaders in government don’t understand. There is a change in the American people; a confluence of energy that is pulling a group of people who have suffered long, work hard, pay their taxes and normally say little; in one common direction. We didn’t plan it; events dictated unspoken action from a quite generation of workers.

The nation is about to get a wakeup call. The patient masses are no longer asleep; that means there is real danger for every single power player in Washington D.C. The masses are agitated and they are restless. Washington thinks all is OK because the raucous Town Hall meetings are past. How foolish. This is just the quite before the storm.

We have cast our gaze east to the Potomac and see little we desire. America has fundamentally changed but Washington, to their danger, do not understand. Hopefully, they will before it is too late.
