The world is a much more dangerous place today than it was when World War II ended. Even a Banana Republic can crawl up on the porch with the big dogs today if they have chemical or nuclear weapons that can kill millions upon millions of people in a matter of days, if not instantly.
The world grows more dangerous right before our eyes. Talk is the perfect weapon used by a skillful-weaker opponent to keep the bigger-mightier opponent fumbling along thinking that they may be winning their objective, or at least hoping they are until it is too late. Talk will not save us in this dangerous world, for the weapons are too powerful and the hatred too deep, at times boiling over, these past thousands of years.
A madman leader instructs scientist to create a virus that could kill indiscriminately ½ the population of the world, also producing the antidote to protect their own people. Would Hitler have used this in Russia if he had that ability, killing millions with almost no effort except letting a few infected prisoners escape? Who is to say that far more evil men than Hitler are not in our future? I should make one pause and consider the importance of always being the most powerful country on this earth. I believe that equality will bring future World Wars. It has only been fear that has kept civilization from destroy itself, so far. Maybe a dying leader of the world will decide to take a good part of the earth’s population with him, and not for reasons you think. Some are already saying that there are too many people on the earth, and all we need is some Green Wacko to decide to thin out the population to make things better. You may laugh but nothing is off the table as mankind becomes more powerful with much more powerful tools at their fingertips.
We need strong leaders who will do everything in their ability to protect America, even when others in the World are whining for America to compromise and become weaker. Currently, I have little confidence in the dithering of President Obama, who seems indecisive on making hard decisions. Our enemies are watching and observing as well. Is this possibly why many European leaders seem to love President Obama? Could it be he demonstrates no principles or beliefs which appear to put America’s interest first, but in fact maker her weaker? Why wouldn’t the Socialist Countries of the world be cheering President Obama’s name? One thing is certain: President Obama was not praised as much ten months into his presidency, after the citizens become more familiar with both him and his inner circle. Never has America benefited from weak leadership, as Jimmy Carter taught us in recent history. Now imagine this: Sarah Palin as President and Michele Bachmann as Vice President. What a dynamic duo! It would drive the Progressives and Liberal left right over the precipice and energize the Conservatives in America like never before. There are more Conservatives and more women voters in America, so this could be truly interesting.
Who is truly the more progressive party if two women candidates were on the same Conservative ticket in 2012? There is no question – another reason for the Progressives and Liberals to gnash their teeth.
Palin/Bachmann are a history changer for America. Let’s make it happen!
