I have read a number of sites, Left, Far Left, Right, Far Right; I have a very interesting observation. No matter what site you go to, you have the exact same post but you just need to replace right-wing nut with Left-wing nut. What is so amazing is that Americans truly are pretty much the same, but they just look toward the middle from opposite ends. It reminds me of two identical twins: Only one has blue on half their left side and the other is blue on half their right side. If you saw them separate you would swear they were the same. It is only when you pull the comments together that you see they are the same person speaking out the other side of their mouth. Please don't take my remarks as demeaning, because they are not meant to be. I just wanted to share my observation.

I just wanted to share my observation.1st. What president ever won taking on the media where they have teams of researchers that can take apart everything they have ever said, or the people they bring with them. The difference today, as politicians’ are ruthfully finding out, is that the wonderful internet, with YouTube, and blogs, is a terrible sharp two-edge sword. The words spoken in a different context to a crowed that loved what was said just don't sound the same coming out of our TV screens years later. This is just another one of my observation. This will haunt both Democrats and Republicans and that brings me to the point of #1.
#2 The President of the United States has demeaned his office. He has revealed to powerful and ruthless despots all around the world one of his greatest weaknesses: Vanity! That is not cool in a world where our opponents study every word he says, writes, even how he interacts with each person in video clips - over and over again - to better understand his weakness and foibles; and write up psychological analysis for very powerful people. Our president, unfortunately, might as well write them a letter and just tell them: "Just stroke my vanity I’m Vain! I can’t stay off TV for a day! I have a very thin skin! I like praise! ‘I'm gifted, Harry’," etc. Not only does his esteem drop in the eyes of the citizens of our nation, worse and far more dangerous, his esteem drops in the eyes of our enemies. They no longer fear him for they see him as weak, and currently are whispering that he is nothing more than a community organizer that really didn't have much time in the Senate to really get a grasp of leadership. Is that true? I don't know: I sure hope not for all of our sakes. But I do believe that he is demonstrating a terrible weakness by choosing the most successful and fastest growing cable news operation in the world to stick his finger in their eye. It doesn’t matter if you hate them or like them – that is just a fact and facts like this are dangerous.
This will NOT turn out well for the Office of the President. It cheapens it and makes it much easier for all of us to disrespect the OFFICE itself. President Obama has a much larger burden than what Fox News, or what any news media thinks of him: He has to protect the Office of the President! Through poor judgment he has shown the poker players of the world a major weakness. He needs to be intrepid, not out here campaigning day-in-and-day out. I say this because I care that he succeed; because if he doesn't do well, it doesn't just affect you; it affects my children and grandchildren for the rest of their lives.
Lastly, though there is so much more; across America we agree on about 80% of the things that affect our lives. Though I may be more fiscal conservative, you more Socially Progressive, as long as we both respect the Constitution and not let anyone change our nation into a Socialist Country, we have a chance at the future. The world is full of failed Socialist Countries that are moving away from systems that are destroying their productivity and burdening them with back-breaking cost.
If our nation is attacked and we have to fight side-by-side for our loved ones and our country, we would both die for each other and that 80% overlap would quickly become 100%. I would only encourage the President and the Politician's to work to bring us back together in that 80% area and stop dividing us as they have been doing for these past 40 years, or so. There is one major problem, however.
President Obama has invested his life into Agitating - not bringing together, and he is still in agitate mode. I believe he does not have the knowledge at this time in his life to be a healer type of leader, though he set up to be one. He takes umbrage at the rough world of Washington politics, and is very used to all News Channels, except Fox, giving him nothing but praise. I am thankful that there is at least one channel asking tough questions, for the media has not asked hard questions and did a pretty good job of covering his tracks up to elected office because we know nothing about him – only a crafted story that is starting to fall apart. They did him and us a disservice because the world we now live in will always be this from now on, unless we lose our Republic. (So many uneducated believe we are a democracy – which always fails when one group gets 51% of the vote, and as our founding fathers well understood for they studied all political system in history up until they wrote the Constitution!) I’m afraid that President has become to much the Radical Himself and this propensity comes out to his debasement (“If they hit us we will hit them back twice as hard” is OK if your enemy is a foreign enemy – but not when you are talking about the citizens you represent in the United States of America.) He has internalized too much of Saul Alinski's "Rules for Radicals" and is truly the Radical President he set out to be. Let’s just hope that he finds within himself sagacity and drop this sententious pretense of making Fox News Pay. All he is doing is making Fox News wealthy.
