Spending Like A Drunk Sailor On A Pirate Ship

The United States is spending money like a drunken sailor in a whore house. Whereas a Sailor runs out of money, eventually, the government doesn’t have that problem; it turns on the printing presses - as evident this past summer when it printed up two-trillion dollars to tide it over. (1 trillion dollars is 52,000,000 miles long) The only problem with this scenario is that our children have to retire that money with real sweat and blood. The sweat from hard work for less wealth because of interest (around $400,000,000 a day right now), the blood from the probable wars as the world perceives us as weak and undereducated as we spit out students with little formal education, no sense of history and in need of remedial reading classes before they can take entry level college courses at a Junior College.

There is one big problem in the spending called the: Legislative Federal Debt Ceiling. This amount was 11.9 trillion dollars as of September and is now nearing the legal limit, which is just over 12 trillion.

Congress has raised the limit four times in the past three years, as the need for financing has risen. Some hope that the limit will encourage fiscal responsibility. Others fear that this exercise raises the risk of a technical default, as nearly occurred in 1995, which would disrupt markets and potentially impose severe costs on a struggling economy.

The more concerning graph is the one below. If we add up all of our products and services produced in America, and then compare this production to our debt we get a relationship of GDP to our debt.  It is headed toward 80% or higher in the near future. Why this does not concern the liberalsI have no idea.  Of course, they can still buy a gallon of gasoline.  When it hits $10 a gallon, I think we will hear a different tune but it will be too late.  The structural damage will be done and the new Health Care program, which does nothing to reduce cost, will be melded into our economy so that it can't be unraveled without great social unrest. Those in power today know this is a one-way street. 

Note how much it has gone up in just the past year? With the addition of 30 or 40 million people to the Health Care Program, and then add Cap and Trade, it is obvious that the percentage of debt will shoot up much quicker. Leaders of the world don’t appreciate our spending like a drunken sailor. In fact, they are getting ready to shut off the loans if we don’t get our house in order.

Do the elites who surround Obama, from the Ivey League schools, get it? I doubt they have the common sense.  We need some down-to-earth legislators in Congress.  Government has been taken over by the Elite that side with European style and substance, vs American style and substance.  We invest far too much time worrying about what Europe thinks and the truth be known, we know what they think:  They want us back under control - their control.
We are the worst generation in the history of our nation for what we are bequeating to our children and their offspring.  America will be deeply wounded once it moves into the Socialist orbit. What made us unique will be destroyed.  We will be just another European style country - only probably not as educated and as elite as they hold themselves out to be. Why do you think our wealthy movie stars leave America for France, etc?  They don't want to live with a bunch of dumb hicks - you know, the common man and woman that make up America.
