With swift and unrepentant alacrity, the Democrats in the Senate moved forward the Health Care Reform Bill out of Committee and onto the Senate Floor for debate. The last two Senators that voted to move the bill out, hitting the minimum 60 vote threshold, both said that this was no indication of how they are going to vote. However, once on the floor of the Senate, it only takes 51 votes to pass the bill. One of the Senators from Louisiana, we find out, received one hundred to three hundred milllion dollars of breaks for citizens of her state only! It's calle bribes and you go to prision if it is done anywere except our Government. In Washington, D.C., crime DOES pay.
Senator Reid: We are really happy with this bill. Senator Dodd, Reid and Harkin came out to pat themselves on the back and Reid interrupted Dodd to say that he had talked to the Kennedy’s and was informed that Ted was looking down on them. How does he know he is looking down? Maybe he is looking up? The U.S. Senate even takes precedent over Judgment Day evidently. We hear that 40 million people will be brought into the rolls, and the price will go down, and older American’s will not suffer, though $500 billion of savings is going to be squeezed out of Medicare, in of all things – savings! If we have that much in savings, we should fire every Congressman in Washington immediately and bring them home. Also, if 40 million go on the rolls that mean all of the illegals who are here today will be citizens next year. Nice, Prez Obama. One thing we can count on – we will all suffer as we get older and we will a health care system much more like the UK’s, where citizens are suing for Cancer treatments, etc. I guess once you get to a certain age your life value isn’t worth the high cost. Like Obama said in a video I watched he spoke in before the election, we can’t continue to expend all this cost for someone at the end of their lives. Who decides who is at the end of their life? Interesting huh? How would you like to fear getting cancer when you are elderly and being told it is too expensive to treat you?
A public option will drive private health care out of business – as Obama said it would. He said it would take about 15 years.
Of course, the Cadillac plans that the Union Employees in the Government have are currently a problem. The Union is positioning itself so that its members are not taxed. After all, Union workers are special – they were forced to give up to 92,000,000 out of their wages as union dues that was used to elect Obama into office. That was just what was taken out of checks for political purposes. What’s worse, many people in the unions are not Democrats, yet are forced to give up money to elect into power people they don’t want to have control over their lives.
I remember reading about prisoners of war in World War II who had to build the machines of death used to kill those who were fighting to save them from the evil of that day. It seems there is a new kind of evil today that is sending out tentacles of power – forcing many to give of their bounty to elect the very people they don’t want in power over them. It’s about taking power without firing a gun. But there is a very big problem going forward. Unions are taking over the government’s employees and are growing even more powerful. This is the political class; this class votes against the common man and woman who work and have money taken from their checks by the Government.
The Political class produces not one dime, though it is the fastest growing class in America. Every dime it spends must come out of someone else’s pocket and since only ½ of our working citizens actually pay taxes so it is on a smaller and smaller citizenry that must support their very big benefits. As they unions grow stronger, they will have more and more political power. After all, the most frequent visitor to the White House under the Obama Administration so far has been the Head of the Public Employees Union. We are screwed, folks, because the Socialist, and, yes, communist, are moving into power through the political class and they want more power by knowing who does not vote to bring the union in under Card Check. This will be like turning the goons loose on defenseless citizens. Who knows the quite threats that will take place after that comes into being?
Of course, this is not over. It is not about Health Care Reform; by the way, it is about taxes. The bill reforms no health care – it raises taxes, especially on the young people by fining them if they don’t pay for Health Insurance. Of course, this is not a tax, President Obama informed us. Who will collect the fine: The IRS! Not a tax, indeed. I have a bridge in the middle of the ocean I have for sell, too, if you are interested in buying it for 2.5 trillion dollars over ten years – the true cost of the bill once revenue and expenditures are matched year-to-year over succeeding ten years, starting in 2014.
All levels of employment are falling, except one category: The Federal Government! They print money; they are putting our children into a debt that will make them salves to the Chinese and Asia. We have sold our souls for Socialism.
This bill should have been bipartisan. It should have been slowed down and the American Citizen participating more. But since we are all ignorant and are not hot for Socialism, we can’t be brought into the loop. The only loop we get is the one to put around our children’s financial throat in the future.
