America Wants A Smaller Goverment: Only Political Class Unsaiated.

Check these two sets of stats:

"Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party like a smaller government better. Democrats are more narrowly divided: 51% favor a smaller government, but 37% opt for a larger, more activist government.

"Sixty-five percent (65%) of liberals chose a government with more services and higher taxes. Eighty-six percent (86%) of conservatives think a smaller government is better."
First, a majority of all registration flavors favor smaller government. Second, if a majority of "liberals" want otherwise, they must therefore be a minority of all the other groups. We know that libs self-identify at half the rate of conservatives, but these data underscore that.
Next, how about this?
"Sixty-two percent (62%) of all voters say tax cuts are a better way than more government spending to create jobs and fight unemployment. Only 21% say additional stimulus spending is a more effective tool."

You'd think Washington would listen, eh? We do not like your way of doing things. Clearly. If it were an election with those results - even 62% to 38% - it would be called the Mandate of the Ages.
All of these stats point to one thing: Election 2010 is going to be a wonderful time!

  2. I feel as if I'm watching one of those old movies where the damsel in distress is tied up on the train track, and they keep cutting back and forth between her, the hero in the white hat, and the approaching train.  We are in a race to take our country back before it's too late.  I have never spent so much time screaming at my television, as I have in these last few months.  Polls be damned, there going to do it anyway, and if they get immigration reform passed before the elections, you can bet they'll be registering and organizing millions of grateful voters.  This is a very dangerous time, and we can't be apathetic anymore.
