That’s right, a 50% tax on all bonuses over $40,000. This is what happens when Socialist Governments get into power. They spend until there is no money and then they do idiotic things like this. This is imposing arbitrary and punitive taxes on those who are financial types. The government is using those in the financial side as a good whipping boy, though not all banks were involved with getting the country into the banking problems it has. This is about a government putting its party interest above the national interest. Brown is a goner and damaged goods. Even Obama realized that and gave him a pittance of a reception when he visited America. You would have thought Brown was the Janitor the way the White House received him. Now we know he would do a lot less damage if he were.
You can’t raise taxes to 90% for this reason alone: You push on a balloon and the air is going to pop out somewhere else. You will see money moving out of Britain and, hence, the country will become poorer. The money will most likely move to Asia; it certainly isn’t coming to America – we are the next Socialist England in the making. This is the madness of class warfare and Socialism. Take the money from those who wear suits and ties and give it to others. You want to tear a nation up and put it into real war in the streets? Just follow England’s plan of self-destruction.
Who says Movements don’t cause more harm than good? I think that is starting to become the great realization – especially in America where the Federal Government is growing into a insatiable monster that cannot be fed enough. Take today, for example. You and I, when we run out of money and debt, we have to suck it in. What did the United States Government do today? They raised the amount of debt that they can borrow because we maxed out our credit limit. Why don’t they just set it to infinity and let the world know that there is no limit this Government won’t borrow and spend the future generation’s wealth? They are going to hate this generational – the one that became the great Narcissist generation with the great Narcissist President. It’s all about us. Let them eat bread and soup in the future – if there is any.
