Harry Reid answered a reporter’s question about the benefits that Senators received for their states in the latest vote on Cloture to move the Health Care Bill out of Committee and he answered in a revealing way. Basically he replied when asked about how he viewed some Senators getting very large financial benefits for their states interest while others didn’t that he believed everyone got something for their state in this bill (Oink, Oink) and if a Senator didn’t get as much as someone else they may not have done as good a job of getting those benefits (Oink!)

Diving along thinking about this today, and I seem to live it from dawn to late into the nights every single day, my mind started tuning in to what the announcer was saying. Two people were discussing the 60 votes in the Senate the Democrats have and that made each and every one of these votes extremely powerful. In fact, each has the ability of controlling the Presidents plans as well as the nations.
Wow! This is about the worst case scenario our country can be in. We just took 60 people and made them all a King or a Queen. People in high places can be made to bow down to them and basically give their state a forever pass, like Nebraska received from its ever so wonderful and Patriotic Senator: Ben Nelson. What a Patriot. Don’t you just love this King for a day?
We can’t forget that there are a few Queens, as well, that can wield a lot of power. Wasn’t a Queen for the day able to brag that she took a $300,000,000 bribe for her state to basically get her vote? Hey, It’s only other people’s money. What the hay is everybody so excited about? Oh yea? We have to borrow that money from China? You mean we just don’t have it laying around Fort Knox or some place? So the nation will have to pay for the money AND interest? I wonder what the real cost of that $300 million will be.
Of course, we can’t forget the good ole boy from Montana. I wonder how that language got in there making his state the beneficiary of a Frontier State and getting a wonder deal on the cost of Medicaid cost increases that are not to materialize for a number of years. But look on the bright side; he didn’t get the Forever Deal that King Ben Nelson received. Maybe he should only be a Knight or a Bishop? You don’t get any more planner than that. Then there is Michigan; seems that slimy Dingle was up to some slimy backroom business as well. Aren’t these Kings and Queens concerned that they could very well start a Financial Civil War in the United States? People in California and Oregon are going to start getting pretty ticked off that they not only have to pay their way but Nebraska’s as well. What’s worse, California has a far worse unemployment problem.
What do you think we change the names from Kings and Queens to just plain ole “Whores?” I propose that in all your correspondence to Congress we us the following salutations:
Dear Madam Whore: Or Dear Senator Whore. (Since I live in California I will use the Madam Whore on Senator Boxer. She earned it.)
